We are now accepting applications for the WLB Support Use Start Grant.
The subsidy will be provided to physicians/researchers who use these support services for the first time while balancing their research activities with childcare, childbirth, nursing care, hospital visits, etc.

- Purpose
The purpose of this project is to support the research activities of doctors and researchers who conduct research activities while balancing childcare, childbirth, nursing care, hospital visits, etc., by providing subsidies for the first use of those support services, thereby stimulating the research activities of the University. - Eligible applicants
Faculty and staff of Kyoto Prefectural University of Medicine (including students, trainees, etc.) - Support Targets
Babysitting, housekeeping services, childcare for sick children (for non-University use), and nursing care services for the first time - Subsidy amount
Up to 20,000 yen per person, one time only (if less than 20,000 yen, the amount shown on the receipt) - Application Period
April 1, 2022 – March 31, 2023
However, the program will be terminated when the budgeted amount for the fiscal year has been reached. - How to apply
After using the service, the trainee shall promptly submit an application form (Form 1 attached) and the original receipt (photocopy not acceptable) to the Director of the WLB Support Center Miyako.
*Trainees must also submit a copy of their research or medical license. - Contacts
